My name is Jerzy Grzesiak. I was born in 1988. I live in Lodz, a city the center of Poland.
Since I can remember, I have always been fascinated with nature, the focal subject being
birds.
I remember my first contact with nature photography as well. It
was around the age of 11. It was a turning point in my life. Encouraged by my
father I have never looked back.
Many of my photographs have been published in calendars, magazines, books and press. Some of them have
won important awards.
My most significant achievements that I am very
proud of are as follows:

An album entitled "Fascination" with my photographs, articles and a short guide how to take pictures of wildlife has been published. It's available in Polish version via my website.

Guardian of the mist

My photograph of European hare entitled "The guardian of the mist" has received several awards such as: The first place in young photographers' category in an ecological photography Bayers' competition; The second place in the most important wildlife photography competition in Poland "Foto-Eko 2005"; The second place in Italian ASFERICO 2007 competition; The Extraordinary Novel Award in Memorial Maria Luisa 2007.

My photograph of goosander was highly commended in one of the most prestigious wildlife photography competitions in the world, which is organized by Natural History Museum in London and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
